The watch phones trend

By default a wristwatch has the primary function of displaying time (a regular watch, not a collection one). A cell phone also has the function of displaying time but that’s secondary. What do you get when you combine the two of them, a gadget in the form of a watch with an extended function of a cell phone: in two words a watch phone.

This is a growing trend, launched by various small Chinese companies, a trend that is now embraced by LG with the GD910, a pretty stylish watch. I don’t know if I would buy now a watch phone, but this is surely a trend to watch as in the future people will need something smaller than current phones (I’m talking about the people who don’t need fancy phones).
