Samsung Series 9 Ultrabook: Slick and intelligent!
At a single Google search you will find allot of articles about lots of ultrabooks. It’s practically an invasion already! So we asked ourselves which one is the best ultrabook? What’s the best deal for such PCs? But, let’s start with the beginning… The concept of ultrabook relies on the increased portability.
To do that, the laptop producers had to reduce not only sizes and dimensions, but also the time a battery can run unplugged. These are the general accepted features, so all the ultrabooks are thin and light and they all have a long battery life. They are all pretty, but which one is the best? Let’s take a look at the Samsung Series 9 ultrabook, both 11.6 inches display and 13.3 inches.
The inside looks like this: Intel Core i3 processor, 64 GB solid state drive, 2 GB DDR3 RAM, the battery lasts up to seven hours for the Samsung Series 9 with 11.6 inches display. For the 13.3 inches one, the main features are: 1.5 Intel Core i5, 128 solid state drive and 4 GB DDR3 RAM, the battery’s life remains the same. Both units come pre-loaded with the Windows 7 operating system.

The design, even though is worth it, is pretty much the same for the twin brothers. They both have built-in a web camera and microphone two USB ports (a 2.0 one and another one of 3.0), HDMI port, Micro SD card reader, LED display, nothing new up to now. But the Samsung Series 9 also provides built-in stereo speakers, Ethernet and 4 GB WiMax. The 11.6 inches ultrabook is 0.6 thick and weighs 2.3 pounds. The 13.3 inches has the exact thickness and a 2.9 weight and important, as well is the multi touch click pad, that both provide. The enclosure is made of duralumin, which is much better and resistant than magnesium-aluminum alloy, but also more expensive.

Great design for Samsung Series 9
In terms of performance, the Samsung Series 9 seems great to me. It connects fast to the internet through both Wi-Fi and Ethernet, it comes back from sleep in an instant and the generous resolution is a plus. It just has everything one needs, unlike other ultrabooks that haven’t reached the stores yet and ask for the same price. The 13.3 inches ultrabook has some nice improvements that definitely worth it. They are both ok for gaming, but the bigger brother allows you access into the 3D world (as for the smaller one, you’ll settle for mainstream) and connects wireless to a HDTV and gives you the chance to stream videos and photos . This is not all, remember the funny reflections your computer has when using it in sunlight? This ultrabook make you forget about them.

Who is the Samsung Series 9 for? Well, it is very portable (suitable for trips from country to country and from café to café) and it has a decent price for what it offers, so I guess the Series 9 are for everyone, from business class to teenagers!
