Those were the strong points that made the Kindle a US success, but now Amazon is aiming even higher, by offering an <a
href="http://bit.ly/yaqlU">International version for the Amazon Kindle</a>, the 6 inch screen variant.</p><div

class="wp-caption-text">Amazon Kindle International version</p></div><p>I hope there are also plans to bring the bigger, Kindle DX into International space as it features a much bigger 9.7 &#8221; e-Ink screen. The Amazon Kindle for International users is <a
href="http://bit.ly/yaqlU">available for preorder starting today at 279 $ price point</a>, not much more expensive than the US only version (20$ more). The main specs remain the same: 1500 books storage capacity (this is for medium size books), text to speech, books are delivered in under 60$, whispersync. The Kindle Store has the same titles, over 350.000 to choose from. Warranty remains the same: 1 year from manufacturer.</p><p>The International version practically offers 3G compatible network cards for other continents and allows non US (over 100 countries are supported.
