LG BL40 Chocolate: phones go super wide screen
Fashion gadgets are not a new thing, as starting a few years ago this type of products started to appear all over the IT&C Industry. LG is one of the pioneers of this trend and today they officially announced the LG BL40 Chocolate, the successor of the already successful LG Chocolate mobile phone. LG managed to do things differently also this time as the BL40 Chocolate is no ordinary phone in appearance, as it features a super wide screen with a cinema 21:9 aspect ratio.

The rest is pretty much history, but let’s see what the LG BL40 Chocolate has to offer:
- 21:9 cinema aspect ratio with 800 x 345 pixels
- 5 megapixel camera with Schneider-Kreuznach lens
- 7.2 Mbps UMTS/HSDPA
- WiFi
- aGPS
- FM transmitter
- microSD slot plus 335 MB of internal memory
LG has scheduled the BL40 Chocolate for Q3 release. I’m curius for how much it will sell plus I want to know who designer the interface, as for me it seems clearly inspired from the iPhone, but then again LG is one hell of a copycat when it comes to design.
